“夜が夜であるための”心地よい灯りをテーマに、灯りの質にこだわった日本のポータブル照明メーカーAmbientecよりCachalotに続くシリーズとして新たにデザインされたBarcarolleが発売されます。
Barcarolleという名前の由来を紐解くとヴェネツィアのゴンドラ乗りの唄に行きつきます。そのヴェネツィアの海や運河の水面に映る街の灯りをモチーフにプログラムされた揺れる灯りを灯すことで、まるで温度を感じる温かな情景が浮かびあがります。
本体のデザインは人の暮らしや文化が歴史の中で創り上げてきた要素からインスピレーションを受けています。古くから残るヨーロッパの美しい街灯、歴史的な教会や施設といった建築、そこにある階段や柱のディテール。これらが持つある種の装飾性を再解釈することで、時代や時間軸が溶け合い、クラシックとモダンが一つに調和したかのようなポータブルランプの姿が生まれました。
期間中、CIBONEではAmbientec Galleryでしか取り扱いされていない2型をふくむBarcarolle全ラインナップをお楽しみいただけます。

A new portable lamp from Ambientec, the Japanese lighting brand devoted to the art of “light for the sake of the night.” Following the Cachalot, Barcarolle has been newly designed as part of Ambientec’s pursuit of quality illumination that enriches the senses.
The name Barcarolle traces back to the traditional songs sung by Venetian gondoliers. Inspired by the shimmering reflections of city lights on Venice’s canals and sea, this lamp evokes a scene of gentle warmth—its flickering light programmed to suggest the tender, rhythmic sway of water at night.
The design draws inspiration from elements that human life and culture have shaped throughout history: the timeless streetlamps of Europe, the architectural beauty of historic churches and public buildings, the graceful lines of stairs and columns. By reinterpreting these ornamental details, Barcarolle unites classical and contemporary sensibilities into a single, harmonious form.
During the exhibition period, CIBONE will showcase the full Barcarolle lineup, including two exclusive models available only at the Ambientec Gallery.
