6月13日(土)より、ガラス作家 西山芳浩(にしやま よしひろ)の個展をCIBONE CASE(銀座)にて開催いたします。

それは当たり前のように日常に溶け込み、
一杯の水を注ぐ、その行為自体が幸せだと感じる。
西山芳浩の作品に惹かれる理由は、きっとそこにあります。

不規則に光や空気にゆらぐガラスは、見るたびに少し違った表情を見せます。
そのわずかなゆらぎの変化が、止まることなく続いていく日々の感覚とどこか重なって見えるのです。
長く付き合っていきたいと思うものは、強い主張を持っているということではなく、強い意志を持ち、変わらず作り続けられていること。
そして、心に留まる、人の手による静かな仕掛けが、作り手の手跡として残っているものです。

西山芳浩の作品にとって、ゆらぎこそが、その手仕事の痕跡であり、
日常の中に静かな実感をもたらす美なのだと思います。

Starting Saturday, June 13, we will be hosting a solo exhibition by glass artist Yoshihiro Nishiyama at CIBONE CASE (Ginza).

It blends into daily life as if it were the most natural thing,
and the very act of pouring a glass of water feels like a source of happiness.
That is surely the reason why people are drawn to Yoshihiro Nishiyama’s work.

The glass, shimmering irregularly in the light and air, reveals a slightly different expression every time you look at it.
Those subtle shifts in shimmer seem to overlap with the sensation of days that continue endlessly without pause.
The things we wish to keep for a long time are not those that make a strong statement, but those created with a strong will and continued without change.
And it is the quiet, handcrafted details that linger in the heart—the traces left by the maker’s hands.

In Yoshihiro Nishiyama’s work, I believe that this very wavering is the trace of his craftsmanship,
and a beauty that brings a quiet sense of reality to everyday life.
