CIBONE(表参道)では、3週間毎に「新しさ」と「ユニーク」さを兼ね備えるジュエリーブランドを展開しております。
9月16日(水)から10月6日(火)までは、5/8 STUDIOS(ファイブエイス)をご紹介いたします。
stillness / emotion / movement
静けさの中にある強さ、身につけることで生まれる感情や動き。
5/8 STUDIOSのジュエリーは、スタイリングを整え、引き立てる塩・胡椒のようなエッセンス。
特殊技術による0.5mmの極細リングや、造形美から生まれる心地よいイヤーカフなど、ファッションや日常の延長線上から生まれるデザイン。
身につける人のスタイルと重なることで、その人らしさが香るジュエリーを提案いたします。
今回、CIBONEでは初となるイベントにて、新作の『TRACE RING』を先行販売いたします。
無機質なスクエアシルエットに、揺らぎを持つラインを重ねたリング。
均整の取れたフォルムの中に、手作業のニュアンスによって残された不均一なラインの痕跡(TRACE)は、時間の経過によって残される記憶のようなもの。
着用する人の動きや時間とともに、それぞれの「TRACE」をつくっていきます。

5/8 STUDIOSは、2020年ニューヨークのアパートメントの一室でのサンプル作りから始まったジュエリーブランド。
ブランド名は、ものづくりの原点となったその場所に由来する数字。
ニューヨークと東京で培ったファッションデザインの経験と、ジュエリーメイキングの技術を背景に、
それぞれのファッションスタイルに寄り添いながら引き立てる、現代的なジュエリーを提案しています。

東京のアパレルブランドで洋服や小物のデザインを経験後、2015年渡米。
SEA NEW YORKにてシニアデザイナーとして、ウィメンズウェアのデザインを手がける。同時期にニューヨークのジュエリースタジオでジュエリーメイキングを学ぶ。
2021年より東京を拠点に5/8 STUDIOSを手がけるほか、フリーランスとしてウィメンズウェアのデザイン・ディレクションにも携わる。

5/8 STUDIOS jewelry is like salt and pepper—an essential element that refines and enhances your style.
From ultra-thin 0.5mm rings crafted using specialized techniques to comfortable ear cuffs born from sculptural beauty, our designs emerge as a natural extension of fashion and everyday life.
We offer jewelry that, by blending with the wearer’s style, exudes their unique personality.
For this event—CIBONE’s first of its kind—we will be offering an exclusive pre-release of our new “TRACE RING.”
This ring features a minimalist square silhouette layered with gently undulating lines.
Within its balanced form, the traces (TRACE) of uneven lines left by the nuances of handcrafted work are like memories preserved over time.
As the wearer moves and time passes, each ring creates its own unique “TRACE.”

5/8 STUDIOS is a jewelry brand that began in 2020 with sample production in a New York City apartment.
The brand name derives from the number representing that place, which served as the origin of our craftsmanship.
Drawing on our experience in fashion design cultivated in New York and Tokyo, as well as our jewelry-making techniques,
we offer contemporary jewelry that complements and enhances individual fashion styles.

After gaining experience designing clothing and accessories at a Tokyo apparel brand, she moved to the U.S. in 2015.
She worked as a senior designer at SEA NEW YORK, where she designed women’s wear. During the same period, she studied jewelry making at a jewelry studio in New York.
Since 2021, she has been running 5/8 STUDIOS out of Tokyo, while also working as a freelancer in women’s wear design and direction.

- New Jewelry is a project management team supporting the expansion of the market for jewelry brands that emphasize design and craftsmanship. Every three weeks, they introduce jewelry brands at CIBONE that embody both "novelty" and "uniqueness." This initiative creates a space for encountering designer jewelry.
