2002年より活動する日本のレーベル、傳tutaeeによる日傘「ツタエノヒガサ」のPOP UPをCIBONE CASEにて開催いたします。

傳tutaeeの活動によって生まれた愛すべく日本の伝統技術と向き合い、その過去から現代に伝わる技術を、現代から未来へのプロダクトとすべく、全ての行程に職人の力を借り、１つ１つ大切に作られています。
素材には、傳の素材として服の為につくってもらっている特別な布地や柄から起こしている注染による傳ノ浴衣地を主に用いています。
今回のPOP UPでは、伝統技術「注染」で染められる生地や、持ち手と石突を鹿の角から一つ一つ丁寧に削り出された２つとない日傘など、普段取り扱いのないラインナップを多くご覧いただけます。

- 傳 tutaee -: 2002年から活動をはじめ、台東区蔵前にアトリエ兼店舗を構える、傳 tutaee(ツタエ)。
「傳」とは「伝」の旧字であり、「日本に生まれ育った自分が、その視点から日本に存在する文化を伝えたい」というコンセプトで活動しています。
伝統技術を生かした職人による制作にこだわりをもち、傘骨からすべてオリジナルでつくられています。

The event sounds fascinating! The Japanese label 傳tutaee, active since 2002, will hold a POP UP at CIBONE CASE featuring their parasols, "Tsutae no Higasa."

傳tutaee is dedicated to preserving and modernizing traditional Japanese techniques, creating products that connect the past to the present and future. Each item is carefully crafted with the help of artisans.

The materials used include "Tsutae no Yukataji," a special dyed fabric created for 傳tutaee's clothing. This POP UP will showcase a unique lineup not usually available, including fabrics dyed using the traditional "chusen" technique and parasols with handles and tips intricately carved from deer antlers.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to appreciate 傳tutaee's delicate craftsmanship and explore their stylish, functional parasols, perfect for anyone interested in traditional Japanese techniques.

‐ 傳 tutaee -: Since 2002, 傳 tutaee (Tsutae) has been active and is based in Taito-ku, Kuramae, where they have an atelier and store. The name "傳" is the traditional character for "伝," meaning "to convey." Their concept is to convey Japanese culture from the perspective of someone born and raised in Japan.傳 tutaee is dedicated to using traditional techniques and craftsmanship, ensuring that all parts, including the umbrella frames, are made from scratch.
