“夜が夜であるための”心地よい灯りをテーマに、灯りの質にこだわった日本のポータブル照明メーカーAmbientec。
新たな取り組みとしてコンテンポラリーデザインスタジオwe＋の「Urban Origin」と共同開発した新作 ”Remli” を含む、ポータブルライトを一堂にご覧いただけるPOP UPを開催します。
インテリア照明としてはもちろん、機能や人の気持ちに働きかける明かりの温度、更には防災など多角的に緻密に考えられた質の高いライトとともに、新たな地産地消へのアプローチにより生まれた新作をぜひ会場にてご覧ください。※開催店舗により展開内容が一部異なります。予めご了承ください。

コンテンポラリーデザインスタジオ・we+のリサーチプロジェクト「Urban Origin」は、東京を使用済み素材の原産地と見立て、「土着の素材を使って、自分たちの手でシンプルに加工する」という、人間と素材の関係の原点に立ち戻ることで、廃棄物の新たな価値を探るプロジェクトです。
東京近郊の産業廃棄物リサイクル処理プラントでは、さまざまな廃棄物が分別されリサイクルされますが、割れて小さくなった細かなゴミは素材別の回収が難しいことから埋め立てに回されています。それらの「残渣（ざんさ）」を土と混ぜ合わせて、左官技術を用いて照明の表面に塗ることで、「Remli（レムリ）」は生まれました。さまざまな素材が入り混じったサーフェスは、光を受けることで美しいグラデーションを帯び、豊かなテクスチャが立ち現れます。
埋め立てられる運命にあった素材が、新たな、現代の土着素材となって、再び暮らしの中に溶け込んでいくのです。

リサーチと実験に立脚した手法で、新たな視点と価値をかたちにするコンテンポラリーデザインスタジオ。林登志也と安藤北斗により2013年に設立。
多くの自主プロジェクトを国内外で発表、 そこから得られた知見を生かし、 R&D やインスタレーション等のコミッションワーク、ブランディング、プロダクト開発、空間デザイン、アートディレクションなど、さまざまな企業や組織のプロジェクトを手がけています。

"Urban Origin" is a research project by we＋, a contemporary design studio. The project reimagines Tokyo as a source of used materials, focusing on simple, hands-on processing of indigenous resources to rediscover new value in waste. By returning to the basics of human-material relationships, this initiative seeks to transform discarded materials into something valuable.
In the recycling plants around Tokyo, various types of industrial waste are processed. However, small fragmented debris, which cannot be easily separated by material, often ends up in landfills. "Remli" was born from mixing these residual fragments with soil and applying plastering techniques to create textured lamp surfaces. The surface, composed of a blend of various materials, takes on a beautiful gradient when illuminated, revealing rich textures.By repurposing materials once destined for landfills, Remli reincorporates them as contemporary indigenous resources that seamlessly blend back into everyday life.
