ロンドンの東Walthamstowに拠点をおくStephen Kennyが主宰するレタープレススタジオ(活版印刷)A Two Pipe Problem。1800年代～1900年代のヴィンテージ・ウッドタイプと、レタープレス機を使用した、芸術性の高いプリント作品です。

今展示会でのカラーテーマである「BLACK & WHITE」は、観る側がモノトーンからその場面を想起し、作品から感じ取る音や色で鮮やかに着色させ、物語を発展させていくことをテーマに、アートの更なる一歩と言える作品となっています。
CIBONEだけのスペシャルエディションの販売、デザイナーのStephen Kennyによるワークショップなども開催いたしますので、お見逃しなく!

オープニングイベント

デザイナーであるStephen Kenny氏を囲んでのオープニングイベントを行います。
ドリンクを飲みながら、デザイナー本人から作品の説明を聞くことができます。
また、ポスター購入先着10名様に、Stephen Kennyがしおりに刻印サービスをいたします。

A Two Pipe Problem - RAIN IS POPCORN
From September 18 (Fri) to October 8 (Thu)

Based in Walthamstow in East London, A Two Pipe Problem is a letterpress studio headed by Stephen Kenny. A Two Pipe Problem will soon be holding an exhibition at Cibone.

This event features artistic, black and white print works which use a letterpress machine and vintage wood type from the 1800s to the 1900s. Special editions made just for Cibone will be on sale, and Stephen Kenny has also organised an upcoming workshop. We all look forward to seeing you in our store!
