フランス各地を旅するように楽しむ、うつわの魅力

フランスの民芸店「la tuile à loup」(ラ テュイル ア ルー) のオーナー、Eric GOUJOU(エリック・グジュー)氏をディレクターに迎え、プロヴァンス、ブルゴーニュ、アルザス、サヴォアの気候や風土、食文化のことなる4つの地域の器をご紹介します。その地方の日々の暮らしや食文化をささえるそこにしかない民芸の器。エリック氏が自ら足をはこんで選んだ、職人手作りの一点ものばかりを集めました。
フランスを代表する4つの地域から、古くから伝わる伝統的な技法を用いた「マーブル柄」や、草木などの自然の中に存在するものをモチーフにした「トロンプ・ルイユ」。南仏の空色のように深く晴れやかな色彩が目を引く「アズール」など、その土地の歴史や伝統から生まれる技法や、 職人の個性が表れた作風を、お楽しみください。

We are happy to announce that we have invited Eric Goujou from the French folk handicraft shop, la tuile ? loup, to act as Director in the selection of our new offerings of French porcelain. These products come from Provence, Bourgogne, Alsace, and Savoie. They reflect the different climates, natural features, and food cultures of each province. These folk art pieces are all one-of-a-kind items. They have been carefully chosen by Mr. Goujou, who personally visited each region when sourcing them.

The porcelain products reveal the characteristics of the craftsmen who made them. They draw on different techniques influenced by the histories and traditions of each province, including marble patterns, trompe-l’?il, and azul coloring. Each product has the autograph of the respective artisan on the back.
