Herbivore Botanicals is a natural skincare brand, founded in Seattle by Julia Wills and Alexander Kummerow in 2011. Raised by a mother who ran a day spa, Julia studied naturopathy at Bastille University, which is known for alternative medicine. She has partnered with Alexander, an expert in art and design, and they have found a way to perfectly handcraft their products in every sense. They source raw natural materials, such as Japanese bamboo charcoal and Brazilian gemstones, in order to produce the finest essential oils and minerals.
