tempoモビール作りのワークショップ

建築家・デザイナーが、空間と時間にアプローチするモビールブランド、「tempo」のディレクション、デザイナーとして参加しているDRILL DESIGNがデザインしたモビールを製作します。

わずかな風をうけて優雅に動き、空間に心地よいアクセントを生む、「動く彫刻」ともいわれるモビール。様々な素材、形を組み合わせて実際に手を動かしながら、素材による重さの違いや、モビールのバランスの仕組みを感じるワークショップです。

tempo / テンポ
tempoのモビールは、建築家・デザイナーによるもので、彼らの考える重量やバランスに対しての解答であり、空間と時間にアプローチした新しい形のプロダクトです。アッセンブルのプロフェッショナルにより、バランスを損なわないよう、ひとつひとつていねいな手作業で組み立てられています。

Tempo's Mobile Workshop

Tempo is a mobile brand led by a group of architects and designers, and which takes new approaches to space and time. In Tempo's mobile workshop, participants will make mobile products designed by Drill Design, a design studio involved with Tempo.

A mobile is a type of kinetic sculpture which moves gracefully in a breeze, creating a pleasant atmosphere. In Tempo's mobile workshop, participants will work with a wide range of materials in different shapes. Working by hand, they will be able to feel the differences in the weight of the materials and learn about how mobile sculptures are balanced and put together.

Tempo

Drill Design
Established in 2001, Drill Design is a design studio led by Yusuke Hayashi and Yoko Yasunishi. Primarily working in product design, the studio designs and directs beyond conventional categories. They work in graphics, packaging, and space design.
Seeing design as a method through which to create the future and not as a purpose in itself, Drill Design explores the new possibilities which sprawl out of creation.
