Gleichenia は、ガラスや金属、七宝など様々な素材の持ち味に向き合い、実験的に手を加えながらコンセプトとの間を柔軟に行き来することで、日常に色さすかたちを生みだしています。アートとデザインを対の羽片に、２つの視点の折り重なる表現が、身につける一人ひとりによって、新たな物語へと紡がれていくことに想いを馳せています。

今回の展示では、山や川にて思い思いに石を積みあげる慣習から着想を得た『CAIRN ペンダント』や、より身近に美術を感じたいというコンセプトを七宝技法と立体的な構造にて表現した『ECHO ブローチ』など、さまざまな素材や技法を用いたジュエリーとオブジェを発表します。

Gleichenia

イギリスで彫刻を学んだ池ヶ谷香奈子と空間デザインを学んだデザイナー池ヶ谷侑によるコンテンポラリー・ジュエリーブランド。Gleichenia（グレイキニア）とは、シダの一種である縁起物のウラジロの学名に由来します。はじけた胞子が舞い降りた土地に応じて新たな生命を育むように、出自や年齢・性別・既存の価値観にとらわれない生き方に寄り添うような作品づくりを探求しています。

New Jewelry

New Jewelry LLC.は、デザイン性や手工芸性を重視したジュエリーブランドのマーケットの拡大をサポートする企画運営チームです。ジャンルの垣根を超えて、クリエイティビティの高いジュエリーブランドを選定し、確かなキュレーションにより、デザイナーズジュエリーとの出会いの場を創出しています。CIBONE (GYRE B1F)では、3週間毎に「新しさ」と「ユニーク」さを兼ね備えるジュエリーブランドをご紹介。足を運ぶごとに新しい顔ぶれが並び、常時新しいトレンドを発信する「New Jewelry for CIBONE」にぜひご期待ください。

A contemporary jewelry brand by Kanao Ikegaya, who studied sculpture in the UK, and the designer Yu Ikegaya, who specialized in spatial design. Gleichenia explores the creation of works that embrace lifestyles free from origin, age, gender, and existing values. In this exhibition, they will present jewelry and objets d'art that engage with the characteristics of materials such as glass, metal, and cloisonné, allowing one to feel art more intimately.

New Jewelry for CIBONE
"New Jewelry" is a project management team supporting the expansion of the market for jewelry brands that emphasize design and craftsmanship. Every three weeks, they introduce jewelry brands at CIBONE that embody both "novelty" and "uniqueness." This initiative creates a space for encountering designer jewelry.
