CIBONEではフォトグラファー、伊丹豪のエキシビションを開催します。 コレクション、TARANTELLAはNASAの衛星機が記録した写真を基に作品化したものです。 キャンバスへのプリントシート、アクリル圧着をお選び頂けますので お好きなスタイルで写真のある空間をお楽しみください。

写真を撮るというとき、そこには必ずカメラが介在する。 カメラはそれぞれ個別のフォーマットを有している。 すなわちカメラの選択は世界をどう見るのかという窓口であり、そしてそれは見方に関する決定的な選択となる。今、目の前に広がるものに対して四角くトリミングをするということは自らがシャッターを押すことであれ、事後的に処理することであれ、写真を撮る と言えるのではないか。また、言い換えるならば、写真を撮るというのは全体から部分を選び取るということであり、部分として取り出されたそれは固定された瞬間に全体となり、幾つもの部分という枝葉を所持するようになる。 このフォーマットという規範と、全体と部分という往復運動を基にして、1枚の写真に積層された可能性、撮るということを再度考察してみたい。

Cibone is pleased to present a photo exhibition by Go Itami. The show is titled 'Tarantella', and consists of works based on photographs shot by NASA's satellite. You can choose between images printed onto canvas or onto acrylic. We hope you can find a favorite piece that matches your personal style!

Whatever the photograph, a camera is always involved. Each camera will have its own individual format. Therefore, selecting a camera shows and determines how you see the world. Trimming the world in front of you down to a square format can be compared to the act of taking a picture (you can do this by pressing down on the shutter or by using Photoshop). In other words, taking a picture can be seen as equivalent to the act of choosing a part from the whole; once this is determined, then this part becomes a new whole. Naturally, this new whole also contains parts. With this concept of formatting, wholes and parts in mind, I would like to re-explore both the possibilities which accumulate in a single photograph and the basic act of taking a picture.

事前予約は必要ありませんので開始時間にCIBONE店内のエキシビションスペースにお集まりください。

During the exhibition period, Go Itami himself will give a gallery tour and discuss his pieces with us. You do not have to reserve a place in advance in order to attend, so please feel very welcome to just turn up on the day at the show space in our store.
