Gam Fratesiの展示期間が9月1日まで延長になりました。

どこか懐かしさを感じさせる親密なもの。無意識に触れたくなるもの。彼らは自分たちの家具を「コミュニケーションの道具」だと言います。
イタリア人のエンリコ・フラテージとデンマーク人のスティーネ・ガムの二人による「ガムフラテージ」。彼らの作品は、革新的なデザイン潮流を起こしてきたイタリアデザインと、先人の知恵や技術を大切にしながら名作を築いてきたデンマークデザインが融和したものです。
彼らのつくる、人に寄り添ったデザインは、自分の外側にあるものに敬意を払いながら、自身の内側を見極めた結晶体のようです。日本初公開の作品を、貴重なスケッチとともにおたのしみください。

GamFratesi ガムフラテージ
2006年にデンマーク人の建築家Stine Gamとイタリア人の建築家Enrico Fratesiによってスタジオが設立される。コペンハーゲンに拠点を置き、イタリアとデンマークを行き来しながら新たなプロジェクトのリサーチと製作を行っている。GamFratesiのデザインは、伝統と再生の融合、そして二人が選ぶ素材と技法への実験的なアプローチが特徴的。イタリアデザインのクラシックな知的でコンセプチュアルな手法、デンマークの伝統的な技術という二人の異なるバックグラウンドの融合を見ることができる。

GamFratesi

GamFratesi is a design studio run by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. Their work reveals a harmony between Italian design and Danish design. Generally speaking, Italian design innovates design trends, and Danish design produces masterpieces by respectfully drawing on traditional knowledge and techniques.

GamFratesi's works should feel familiar to the observer, perhaps even bringing back memories. They have a quality which makes you subconsciously want to touch them. Gam and Fratesi say that their furniture products are ‘tools for communication'.

The designs proposed by GamFratesi embrace humanity. They are like a crystal substance that shows what is inside while also acknowledging what is on the outside. We hope you thoroughly enjoy experiencing GamFratesi's new works, shown in Japan for the first time, along with their invaluable design sketches.

GamFratesi
GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen. However, Gam and Fratesi constantly travel between Italy and Denmark to research and develop their new projects. GamFratesi’s design finds its creative drive within the fusion of tradition and renewal, and in its experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques. Gam and Fratesi create products which reflect their respective backgrounds: the traditional Danish craftsmanship, and the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach.
