今秋、CIBONEでは陶芸家 小野哲平のエキシビションを開催します。
これまで私たちは、人が使う道具としてデザインの価値を考え続けてきました。そして、その流れの中に小野哲平の土の器を発見することができたのです。
彼が生み出す陶器の数々は、使うほど味わいの増す不思議な魅力にみちています。それは、使い手を包み込むような懐の深さをもち、誰に対してもひらいている器です。
静謐な強さを宿す大皿を含め、800点もの作品を揃えた今回の小野哲平展。新しい土の器との出会いをぜひここから始めてみてください。
よい器とはなんでしょう。ひとつの答えは食べることが愉しくなる器です。
小野哲平のつくる器は強く、限りなくあたたかい器。土から生まれた食べものを土の器で食べることは、わたしたちに根源的な生きる喜びを伝えてくれます。日々の食卓に優れて美しい土の器を。本展では、呉須、鉄化粧、櫛目など、もっとも新しい小野哲平の仕事をご覧いただきます。手に包み、使い心地を確かめてください。

Teppei Ono
This autumn, Cibone will hold an exhibition by ceramist Teppei Ono. While we've been considering the value of practical design - objects as tools for people to truly use - we discovered Teppei Ono's earthenware along the way.
A particular range of Ono's works have a mysterious fascination about them. The more you use his pieces, the more impressive and interesting they become. Ono's ceramics truly embrace their user, and are therefore open to everyone.
This time, Teppei Ono's exhibition will showcase 800 ceramic pieces, including large plates which have a tranquil and powerful quality to them. Visit this exhibition to really start discovering new earthenware!
What is the mark of a really good piece of ceramic? Perhaps one answer could be a piece which makes eating a truly enjoyable experience. Teppei Ono creates powerful yet extremely "warm" ceramics. Eating food (which, of course, comes from the land) while using quality earthenware gives us a sense of the fundamental joy of living. We ought to consider using beautiful ceramics suitable for everyday dishes. Ono's exhibition will introduce his latest works, such as gosu porcelain, iron glazing ceramics, and comb-marked pottery. You are very welcome to visit the exhibition, touch his works, and see for yourself just how delightful they are to use in everyday life.
